Athumanesar Ministries, also known as United Christian Believers’ Fellowship, is a Christ-centred apostolic ministry founded on the truth revealed in Jesus Christ.
We believe in one God, revealed fully in Jesus. He is Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in His living presence among us.
From the beginning, this ministry has stood on the apostolic foundation preached by the early Church: repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and a Spirit-filled life.
Over the years, the Lord has gathered people from different walks of life, cultures, and regions, shaping a fellowship rooted in prayer, teaching, worship, and service.

Athumanesar Ministries was not built by human vision or effort.
Jesus Christ Himself is the Founder and Head of this ministry. Apo. D. Asirvatham serves as a servant of God, called and appointed to carry the Gospel, shepherd souls, and stand in obedience to the mandate given by the Lord.
Our Apostolic Servant Leader Apostle D. Asirvatham Apo. D. Asirvatham is a pastor, public speaker, and apostolic servant of God, whose life bears witness to God’s faithfulness from generation to generation.
Apo. D. Asirvatham is a pastor, public speaker, and apostolic servant of God, whose life bears witness to God’s faithfulness from generation to generation.
Apo. D. Asirvatham was born on 9th April 1946, in a small village called Thalarkulam, in the Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu. He was born into a family with nine siblings, having lost the youngest child even before his birth.
Before his birth, tragedy struck the family. One day, their home was engulfed in fire while his elder brother was still in the cradle. The family lost both a precious life and all their material possessions. The emotional and financial loss was overwhelming.
Yet, their faith and prayers did not fail. In their brokenness, his parents made a vow before the Lord: Lord, if You give us a son in place of the one we lost, we will name him Asirvatham.” (Asirvatham meaning “Blessing”) God remembered their tears, heard their prayer, and blessed them with a baby boy whom they faithfully named Asirvatham — a living testimony of God’s grace.
From a young age, Apo. D. Asirvatham was known to be godly, inquisitive, and diligent. He excelled in his studies and later became a government school teacher. Even while pursuing his profession, he remained deeply involved in serving the Lord. However, God’s call upon his life was clear, persistent, and unmistakable — a call to serve Him fully and without reserve. In time, he yielded completely, choosing obedience over comfort, and answered the call to full-time ministry.
Responding to God’s leading, Apo. D. Asirvatham left Tirunelveli with little more than a few clothes, placing his trust entirely in the Lord. His journey eventually brought him to Trichy, where the ministry formally began. The early days were marked by hardship, opposition, and testing. Yet the power of God was evident. The Lord confirmed His servant’s calling through prayer, healing, and deliverance. Because of the authority God entrusted to him in casting out demons in the name of Jesus, he became widely known as “the Devil’s Driver.” This title was not sought, but became a testimony to the power of Christ at work.
Apo. D. Asirvatham was united in marriage to Hannah Hogg Margratte, a devoted servant of God who responded to the Lord’s call from Malaysia to India. Guided by the vision God placed in her heart, she came to India to serve Him wholeheartedly. After arriving, she pursued theological training at a Bible College in Coimbatore, equipping herself for ministry. Together, as one in purpose and calling, they laboured faithfully, planting and watering while God gave the increase.
By the grace and power of God, Athumanesar Ministries grew steadily
from humble beginnings to churches, fellowships, and believers across the nation and overseas.
The Lord blessed this couple with three biological children and with multitudes of spiritual
children across the world — lives transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“One plants, another waters, but God gives the increase.”
1 Corinthians 3:6
Today, Athumanesar Ministries (UCBF) continues to stand firm on biblical truth, apostolic faith, and complete dependence on the Holy Spirit.
All glory belongs to Jesus Christ alone.
